FC Barcelona to Host Inaugural Fixture at Upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday
The club confirmed their first game will take place at the still-under-construction Camp Nou this Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in La Liga 30 months following their departure to allow renovations to start.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees will be allowed to watch based on approved permits. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach close to 105,000 fans, up from the previous 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players plus modern locker rooms.
